The Strand Originals Program With Mulholland Books
An interesting piece of news caught my attention yesterday, which really made me excited. Mulholland Books and Strand Magazine are joining forces in publishing 20 Strand Magazine original stories both as ebooks and audiobooks in 2016.
The stories will be published under the title The Strand Originals Program which initially includes 5 novellas by popular mystery and thriller authors including Ian Rankin (Meet and Greet), Linwood Barclay (Jacket Man), Jeffery Deaver (Where The Evidence Lies), Faye Kellerman (The Voiceless) and Olen Steinhauer (Start-Up). The first publication was published April 19.
The next 15 stories will be published over the course of 2016 from Michael Connelly, Tennessee Williams, Ray Bradbury, Philip Kerr, Michael Palmer, Colin Dexter, Lorenzo Carcaterra, Charles Todd, Matthew Pearl, T. Jefferson Parker,R.L. Stein and Max Allan Collins & Mickey Spillane, along with Joseph Heller.
Each short story will only cost $1.99. I can’t wait to read these, the authors include some of my favorites ever.
