Who is Eve Dallas?

Eve Dallas is the main protagonist of J.D. Robb’s long-running In Death series. She is a homicide lieutenant with the New York City Police and Security Department (NYPSD), where she investigates major violent crimes. The stories are set in New York City in the mid-21st century.

Eve leads a homicide squad at Cop Central and works closely with her partners and friends Delia Peabody, medical examiner Morris, and her husband Roarke, a billionaire with a criminal past whose resources and connections frequently intersect with her investigations.
