The Defence

The Defence is book 4 in Rob Rinder’s Adam Green legal thriller series. Adam is now defending Jules, the long-suffering assistant of Adrian Wells, an MP turned wellness guru who died during the fancy launch party for his anti-ageing bath salt. During his demonstration of the product in a copper tub in front of influencers, something went terribly wrong. The bath salt has been poisoned and Adrian is now dead. Of course, Jules is the obvious person to blame. At first, it looks like the case is almost too easy, because, just as in the author’s previous books, the prime suspect, is right there at the scene. When Adam starts looking at Adrian’s life, he finds plenty of people who may have wanted him dead. But how can he defend someone who has already been convicted by popular vote?
