The Millionaire Waltz
The Millionaire Waltz is a standalone historical crime novel by Anthony Quinn, published by Abacus in August 2026. Set in London in the 1920s, it follows Edie Greenlaw, a young woman engaged to a handsome war hero but not quite sure whether marriage will give her the life she wants.
When Edie goes to help a friend, she becomes involved with people scheming with blackmail and sexual extortion, and the situation turns violent. London is still recovering from the First World War, while the rules of high society don’t give Edie a lot of choice for her own future. Theatre critic Jimmy Erskine from Curtain Call also appears, connecting the novel to Quinn’s earlier London book, Curtain Call, although the story can be read on its own.
